They can be used in cases of leg injuries such as fractures, paralysis, muscle/nerve damage, strains and sprains, or for post-operative rehabilitation following surgery on the hip, knee or ankle. It is important to note that a period of partial/non-weight bearing of an limb may be required depending on the severity of an injury.
