Here at Medess, we are proud to supply a range of Dengue Rapid Tests to aid in the diagnosis and screening of dengue fever. Our Rapid Tests are a fast and efficient solution for detecting the presence of dengue viral antigens. These tests work by lateral flow immunochromatography, with results available in 10-20 minutes depending on the individual test. The Dengue Rapid Tests can be stored at room temperature, making them economical for long haul shipping and storage. The tests have a simple protocol: drop sample onto the device well, add buffer solution and wait. A line will appear on the T (test) region to indicate a positive result
One Step Malaria P.F.Test is a simple, rapid test for the diagnosis of malaria using serum/plasma samples. A positive result by One Step malaria P.F.Test allows for detection of malaria parasites and for differentiation of Plasmodium Falciparum (P.F.) from other less virulent malaria species.
In light microscopy, oil immersion is a technique used to increase the resolving power of a microscope. This is achieved by immersing both the objective lens and the specimen in a transparent oil of high refractive index, thereby increasing the numerical aperture of the objective lens.
One Step Prostate-specific Antigen Test
Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) is an intracellular glycoprotein (MW: 34kDa) generated only in the prostate gland. Normal level of PSA concentration is 0.1 – 2.6 ng!ml in human serum. However, the level of PSA concentration can be elevated in the case of prostate affection, for example, benign hyperplasma (enlarged prostate), malignant prostatic tissue, metastatic prostatic carcinoma. So that, many reports have suggested that the elevated level of serum PSA is the best marker in the diagnosis of prostate cancers.
Our generic brand pregnancy has less cost a strip and doesn’t compromise on accuracy- with an accuracy of greater than 99.9%. Like most early pregnancy tests, it tests for human chorionic gonadrotropin (hGC) hormone levels produced by the placenta. It is a lateral flow immunoassay that tests for the presence of hCG in urine. For an accurate reading, you should test it on the day that you have missed your period. The test can detect hCG level as low as 10mIU/ml.
To use the test strip, pee into a clean plastic container. Dip the small test strip into the urine in a perpendicular manner making sure not to go over the “MAX” line on the strip. After 5-10 seconds, remove the strip and lay it flat on a surface such as the test wrapper. Wait 3-5 minutes and then read the results. The rapid test will show one of the following: positive (two lines), negative (one line), invalid (no lines or no control line).
The rhesus (Rh) reagents are used to detect the presence of the D antigen on the surface of red blood cells in humans. Anti-A, Anti-B and Anti-A,B reagents are used to determine the ABO blood group, while the different Anti-D reagents are used to determine the rhesus D type.
